Madhuvanti’are S g M P N S’ while ascending and all the swaras, S’ N D P M g R S, in the descent. ( M – tivra,G-komal gandhar).Time evening and mood is Sringaar Rasa (   ,love , romance ,sentimental  delicate passion towards  the beloved ).

The ragam Dharmavati uses  all 7 notes in ascending and descending It is the 59th melakarta Ragam.
